As Norway stays precautious about a new uptick in covid-19 cases, PostTrade 360° Oslo will take place on Wednesday 26 August without the physical gathering that was planned as part of a hybrid physical-digital setup. However, wherever you are you can easily join the full-day event via the web.

Our easy-to-use web conference platform will fully replace the physical venue. Sign up here to take part in Norway’s yearly highlight event – whether you wish to join the whole day or sessions you select from the agenda.

The setup will thus be similar to the all-digital PostTrade 360° Web Summit on 3 June, which saw nearly 1.000 signed-up participants from across the world.

Interesting times

This year’s coronavirus mess coincides with an exciting era in the country’s post-trade landscape. Recent developments have included the takeover by Euronext of Oslo Børs VPS and Denmark’s VP Securities, and continued work on highly influential regulation implementations such as CSDR and its settlement discipline regime. The opening keynote will be given by VPS head Audun Bø (see our interview with him from this winter).

Heavyweight operational case studies will be presented by speakers including

• Harald Harlem, head of investment management services of KLP Kapitalforvaltning, who will describe his organisation’s journey towards a consolidated system architecture,

• André Grønlund, head of business solutions and project management of Folketrygdfondet – and others.

Find all information at the conference website here (or skip straight to the sign-up form).

Coming soon: the magazine

A magazine will soon be published as pdf, ahead of the event; check out the magazine we did for Stockholm in the meantime.

Participation is free of charge for the target audience of investment operations professionals. We reserve the right to cancel free registrations for delegates outside the target audience.

By the way … are we connected on LinkedIn already, among the over 1,100 post-trade pros who are?

Here you find our news coverage (including several full-session videos) from the PostTrade 360° Web Summit on 3 June.
