Having onboarded 500 more companies since June 2021, on top of the 1,200 who where already in place, the proxy-voting platform put up jointly by Broadridge and the Tokyo Stock Exchange now works for issuers representing 98 percent of the market capitalisation.

In June 2022, the clients of joint venture Investor Communications Japan (ICJ) included over 1,600 firms listed on the Prime Market, 100 from the standard market and 20 from the Growth Market, according to a Wednesday press release.

The platform seeks to make issuer-investor communication more efficient by digitising the processes of general shareholder meetings.
