Nasdaq Technology is hired to provide the system as the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) seeks to expand its range of asset classes.
As ADX is setting out to develop the market of derivative products both nationally and internationally, the exchange operator looks to Nasdaq’s Stockholm-based Technology division to provide the marketplace technology solutions. ADX says it sees the deal as a key step towards launching a new derivatives market this year, and is introducing central counterparty clearing (CCP) to insure the market’s efficiency and stability.
