Broadridge Financial Solutions has named Roz Smith as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Broadridge International, starting 1 May. In her new role, Smith will focus on scaling and streamlining the division, with an emphasis on implementation processes and programme management. She will work to enhance the organisational structure at both country and regional levels.

Smith will also be responsible for ensuring best practices across functions, business units, and geographies, specifically within the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. Her efforts aim to expand client relationships and improve operational efficiency in these markets, according to a Broadridge in a press release.

Mike Sleightholme, president of Broadridge International, says Smith brings a “deep understanding of financial services and extensive programme management capabilities” to Broadridge International as it enters “its next stage of expansion”.

Before joining Broadridge, Smith spent 18 years at HSBC, where she held various leadership positions. She began her career as a global banking associate and most recently served as head of Strategy and Change Management for the non-financial risk unit in the bank’s markets and securities services division.
