LCH recently announced that Barclays Bank and Barclays Bank Ireland are now live as clearing brokers on CDSClear, its CDS clearing house. The organisation reveals in the announcement that it will continue to expand its clearing network and the range of credit products eligible for clearing.
From Barclays’ perspective, the partnership is expected to give opportunities for gaining capital, margin, and operational efficiencies, as well as allow it to benefit from CDSClear’s risk management expertise.
