Lithuanian capital markets infrastructure provider Axiology has partnered with Orchestrate Funds to offer placement services for investment funds and corporate bonds targeting professional investors.
Under the agreement, Orchestrate Funds will act as a tied agent of Axiology, using its investor network to connect issuers with potential investors. Orkest partners, the company operating Orchestrate Funds, was registered as a tied intermediary of Axiology earlier in October, according to the announcement.
Issuers will be able to register eligible bonds on Axiology’s trading and settlement system and access Orchestrate Funds’ investor network. The infrastructure also supports coupon payments and bond redemption, covering ongoing servicing after issuance.
Axiology chief executive Marius Jurgilas said the partnership would provide investment businesses with regulated market infrastructure without requiring them to build it themselves. Orchestrate Funds founder Viktorija Orkinė said the arrangement would allow the firm to offer investors a broader selection of investments, including bond issues and closed-end funds.
