The economic environment is not terrible when we look forward – but certainly not as positive as we are used to expecting. Northern Trust investment strategist Wouter Sturkenboom laid the macro foundation for the PostTrade 360° Amsterdam conference.

Staple graphs showing big differences between predicted and real-outcome returns for different individual asset classes were part of the presentation by Wouter Sturkenboom Wednesday morning. Wouter is the chief investment strategist for the EMEA and APAC regions at Northern Trust.
The speakers of the day were studio-hosted by Bastiaan Aalders, director and CEO of the Dutch office of consultancy firm Alpha FMC.
