BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business is now consolidating, enriching and governing investment data for Australian superannuation fund UniSuper, giving the fund a daily, integrated view of exposures across its entire fund structure.
The service extends Data PRISM360, the data management solution BNP Paribas launched in December 2024 with fintech NeoXam. UniSuper initially received monthly ESG datasets and is now the first client to adopt the platform’s additional capabilities, as BNP Paribas rolls out a wider data integration programme supporting its end-to-end service for the fund.
The datasets consolidate the fund’s holdings and enrich them with classification, reference and market attributes. They are shared on a predictable daily cycle through data-sharing tools, so UniSuper can ingest them directly into its own data environment. This gives its investment team a single, consistent view of what the fund owns, which it can aggregate and analyse across different attributes.
Dharmendra Dayabhai, head of portfolio implementation and liquidity management at UniSuper, said the change supports better data-led decision-making: “We now receive daily datasets that are purpose-built to support our investments operating model, with a clear focus on reliable, high-quality data.”
Florent Fabre, chief executive of NeoXam, said the teams, working with BNP Paribas staff in Melbourne, Sydney and globally, had delivered UniSuper an investment exposure book of record with an ESG overlay, allowing the fund to look through complex structures and aggregate exposures across multiple dimensions, at any point in its investment hierarchy.
Rémi Toucheboeuf, head of investment analytics and data services at BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business, said: “By extending the capabilities of Data PRISM360, UniSuper benefits from a more integrated and scalable investment data platform, enabling greater transparency and stronger data governance”.
