Apex Group, Chainlink, T-REX Network, and the ERC-3643 Association have developed a modular compliance framework for on-chain bonds. The collaboration brings together Swift standards, regulated asset servicing, and programmable compliance to demonstrate how traditional financial market practices can work with interoperable blockchain infrastructure.

Apex Group is responsible for the operational environment and regulated asset servicing. Chainlink provides the institutional infrastructure to support secure cross-chain transfers of ERC-3643 tokens. T-REX Network ensures that assets need only be deployed once, are managed from a single source of record, and can be distributed across multiple supported blockchain networks. The ERC-3643 Association provides the open ERC-3643 compliance framework, while Swift standards provide the market alignment layer.

ERC-3643 is a standard for compliant tokenisation already in use in many major institutions. It allows identity, eligibility, and transfer requirements to be implemented as modular compliance rules directly at the asset level.

As a part of the collaboration, Swift has joined the ERC-3643 Association. By aligning the two standards, the initiative aims to give financial institutions a common compliance framework with which to approach tokenisation. Compliance requirements, such as identity, investor eligibility, and transfer rules, can be implemented once and reused across different blockchain networks. This removes the need to rebuild the compliance network for each blockchain, allowing investors easier access their assets through their preferred networks.

Peter Hughes, founder and CEO of Apex Group says, “Tokenisation will only scale if institutions can use it without having to recreate the foundations of regulated markets on every new network. This initiative demonstrates a practical route forward, combining established financial market standards with programmable compliance and interoperable infrastructure. Together, these elements can provide the foundations needed to move tokenised assets from experimentation towards broader institutional adoption.”
