Broadridge has appointed Mike Cowley as general manager of its Global Proxy business, effective immediately. He has led the unit on an interim basis for the past six months.
Cowley joined Broadridge two years ago and has since worked on operational improvements and the introduction of AI and automation initiatives across the business.
In his new role, he will oversee Global Proxy’s strategy, growth and operations, with responsibility for client and employee satisfaction. He will also join the leadership team of Broadridge’s Investor Communications Solutions division.
His responsibilities include using the company’s Institutional Governance capabilities to develop services for clients across the custody value chain.
Swatika Rajaram, president of Bank & Broker-Dealer Solutions at Broadridge, said Cowley had helped advance automation and strengthen operations during his time leading the business.
