Clearstream has partnered with software provider Regnology to take its regulatory reporting to the cloud. The CSD will be migrating its on-premise regulatory reporting to Regnology’s Rcloud platform, which launched in November last year in partnership with Google Cloud. The migration is currently pending regulatory approval.
Clearstream currently settles more than 250,000 transactions per day for customers in more than 110 countries. Regnology describes Rcloud as a platform that “delivers ultra-elastic scalability along with reliable and fast report submission and always up-to-date reporting data and software, offering all the benefits of a modern regulatory-as-a-service solution”. It is said to go beyond standard cloud frameworks by providing improved deployment and infrastructure-as-code services, as well as run and change management automation.
