Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and SIX, the Swiss Financial Market Infrastructure Group, have joined forces in a partnership aimed at expanding market access and simplifying cross-border trading. The collaboration agreement underscores “a shared commitment to driving innovation and fostering growth in the global financial landscape”, according to a press release.

The partnership, involving Dubai Central Securities Depository LLC (Dubai CSD) and Dubai Clear LLC under DFM, aims to simplify cross-listing processes, broaden market access, and enhance investment prospects. SIX and Dubai CSD will collaborate on establishing CSD links to facilitate share fungibility and cross-border transfers.

“With the collaboration with Dubai Financial Markets, we are excited to look at broadening the options of companies to raise capital and tap into additional, deep pools of capital as well as facilitating cross border transfers”‚ says Bjørn Sibbern, global head exchanges and member of the executive board of SIX.
