Clear Street has unveiled its futures clearing and execution services, extending its reach to global clients on US exchanges.
The services target hedge funds, professional trading groups and family offices, according to a press release. They provide clearing, custody, execution, and financing for US equities, options, fixed income securities and futures contracts.
This expansion follows Clear Street’s recent introduction of a clearing service for market makers in listed US equities and options in April. In July 2023, it acquired React Consulting Services, including its futures clearing platform, Basis.
Clear Street Futures CEO, Chris Smith, highlights the challenges facing institutional participants due to FCM consolidation. “The current landscape underscores the critical need for a new player with technology that enables firms to navigate the market in real-time amid escalating volatility, regulatory shifts, and rapid changes.”
