Triodos Investment Management has appointed CACEIS to service its Dutch Article 9 fund range, extending a partnership that already covers other funds. CACEIS will provide custody, depositary and fund administration services, as well as reporting and related support, according to the firms’ statement.

The mandate brings the Article 9 funds into CACEIS’s servicing model, which covers operational processing across the investment lifecycle, including portfolio processing and reporting.

Martijn van Oort, managing director risk, finance & operations at Triodos Investment Management, said the arrangement is intended to “simplify our operations, increase efficiency and strengthen our focus on delivering value to our clients while maximizing our positive impact.”

Fee waiver

CACEIS also links the mandate to its initiative for sustainability-focused funds, under which it waives fees for the first year after the launch of a fund or sub-fund classified under Article 9 of the SFDR.

Frans Hofkens, head of business development at CACEIS Netherlands, said the firm’s servicing model provides “a strong foundation for a strategic partnership”.
