Standard Chartered and trading platform Capital.com have entered into a global banking partnership. The bank will be supporting the platform’s virtual assets business in MENA and Europe.

The collaboration will give Capital.com access to Standard Chartered’s global network and institutional banking services. It will cover fiat settlement, client money accounts, and wider services for virtual assets that are already live in both relevant regions.

With this agreement, Capital.com now requires just one global banking connection to manage client funds and settlement activity for virtual asset services operated by its affiliates. The services will still operate within the regulations of the jurisdiction they are from.
