London Stock Exchange Group has appointed Carole Machell as chair of LCH Limited, effective 1 July 2026.
Machell joined LCH Limited and LCH SA in November 2020 as an independent non‑executive director, serving as chair of the Audit Committees and a member of the Risk Committee. She later became chair of the LCH SA Operational Resilience Committee. On assuming the role of Chair of LCH Limited, Machell will immediately step back from her roles at LCH SA.
She succeeds Laurie Adams, who joined the LCH Limited board in 2018 and was appointed chair in September 2020.
