Digital asset financial service provider Hex Trust has announced an integration with Layer-1 blockchain Monad. The collaboration aims to provide to institutional clients a compliant staking infrastructure for Monad’s native token, MON.
Monad claims to deliver fast throughput, minimal latency, and a solution for core scalability issues with a parallel execution architecture, Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus mechanism, and full compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). BFT consensus is a feature that allows a blockchain network to function correctly even if some nodes fail. The EVM is an engine that executes smart contracts on the Ethereum network.
Meanwhile, Hex Trust offers a secure, compliance-first framework that facilitate one-click compounding of staking rewards. Assets will remain within Hex Trust’s compliant custody platform, thus removing the friction of moving tokens for delegation.
Giorgia Pellizzari, chief product officer and head of Custody at Hex Trust reveals that the firm is working to “secure serious institutional commitment” for high-performance networks. “This integration is an effort to architect the necessary standards for institutional participation in next-generation DeFi”
