US market infrastructure provider to launch Approved Reporting Mechanism in early November

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has received authorisation from the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) to operate an Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM) under the EU Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), the US-based firm said.

The service is due to go live in early November 2026. DTCC says the platform will give firms a single, resilient route for transaction reporting, replacing fragmented legacy solutions. It will support high-volume back-reporting submissions and error correction, and will include data quality tools.

“This approval reflects DTCC’s continued investment in innovative, technology-led reporting solutions,” said Michele Hillery, head of Repository & Derivatives Services at DTCC.

The EU authorisation follows DTCC’s UK approval. The FCA authorised its UK ARM in December 2025, and that service launched in May 2026.
