The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has appointed Brian Steele as managing director and president of its clearing and securities services. He will be leading the company’s businesses in the sector, including Equity Clearing and Settlement, Fixed Income Clearing, and Asset Services.
In addition, he will also join the DTCC Management Committee, Management Risk Committee, and the Investment Management Committee, as well as chair the ITP Board of Managers.
Brian Steele brings with him almost 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Prior to his appointment at DTCC, he enjoyed a long tenure at Goldman Sachs, where he was managing director of the bank’s Americas Client Coverage Group and the global head of its Client and Market Solutions.
