B3 has gone live with the second phase of its new central securities depository (CSD) system, built on Vermiculus’ VeriSafe technology.

The upgraded platform supports settlement, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, IPO processing, and the creation and redemption of Brazilian instruments such as ETFs, depository receipts, and fractional shares.

A press release said VeriSafe’s micro service architecture allows B3 to expand capacity and introduce new products more quickly while maintaining operational resilience.

B3 and Vermiculus are now moving to the final phase of the program, which will replace the corporate actions module and add high‑volume processing for complex corporate action calculations and simulations.
