Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) has chosen Clearstream to manage its full range of investment fund execution, processing, and distribution services. The collaboration will bring all of BIL’s fund operations under Clearstream’s Vestima platform, which provides integrated post-trade infrastructure for fund servicing, states the bank in a press release.

BIL will use Clearstream’s platform to streamline workflows across mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments. The bank expects the move to increase efficiency and support scalable growth in its investment fund operations.

By consolidating its processes, BIL aims to enhance the services it provides to clients and distribution partners. The agreement gives BIL access to Clearstream’s extensive global network of fund distributors and investors, supporting wider market access and maintaining high standards for transparency and compliance.

Luxembourg roots

Both organisations are headquartered in Luxembourg, which remains a major global hub for fund administration and cross-border distribution. According to BIL’s chief operating officer, Isa Scheunpflug, the partnership marks an important step in expanding the bank’s fund business and distribution reach while reinforcing its commitment to Luxembourg’s role in financial innovation.

Clearstream Fund Services CEO Philippe Seyll said the cooperation aligns naturally with both firms’ Luxembourg roots and international ambitions. He noted that the partnership contributes to the ongoing growth and global presence of the country’s fund services ecosystem.
