Amundi announced in a press release that it has reached an agreement in principle with Societe Generale to renew their long-term partnership covering investment solutions distribution and securities services.
The planned agreement is set to run for five years, but will only take effect once contractual documents are completed and all required regulatory approvals are obtained.
According to the release, Amundi has been the primary provider of savings and investment solutions for Societe Generale’s retail banking and insurance networks since 2010. Over the same period, Societe Generale Securities Services has been one of Amundi’s main providers of securities services. The companies state that the renewed agreement is intended to continue this setup.
