Sustainability technology company Clarity AI has partnered with investment management solutions provider SimCorp to integrate its data offering into the latter’s platform. The partnership will provide institutional investors with “access to AI-powered datasets, allowing them to effectively align with the EU sustainable finance regulations and execute on impact investing strategies”, writes Clarity AI in a press release.

SimCorp’s investment management platform is using Clarity AI’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) dataset, which is based on an analysis of more than 70,000 companies, 420,000 funds, 201 countries, and 199 local governments. The firm claims that it “represents more breadth than any other player in the market”. SimCorp’s platform combines the comprehensive data with a function that allows users to customise scores based on intended sustainability outcomes.

According to SimCorp, the partnership allows sustainability analytics to become “an integral part of the complete end-to-end investment process” and enables clients to “benefit from advanced process automation, rigorous control checks of their sustainability-related policies, and effortless access to ESG analytics”.
