Operational resilience is now a critical priority for financial firms in all regions, driven by the growing risk of cyber attacks and disruptions, and underpinned by mandatory regulation. In its latest whitepaper, Broadridge presents a holistic approach to these challenges, drawing particular attention to the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), but also looking beyond it.

With DORA’s January 2025 deadline looming close, firms must act now to assess the criticality of their information and communications technology (ICT) systems and services, and perform an impact analysis to ensure they can deliver an operating model aligned to compliance requirements.

But that’s not all that firms have to do. Outside of the EU, regulators in other key jurisdictions have also introduced new requirements for operational resilience. The paper shares an analysis of these regulations, along with insights on potential enforcement actions and a look at the increased pressure that is likely to be experienced by third-party providers and in-house IT teams.
