With operational resilience increasingly becoming an area of focus for regulators, so has the related regulatory burden become heavier for market participants. On stage on 5 September at the PostTrade 360° Nordic conference, Karen Zeeb of the International Securities Services Association (ISSA) and Alejandra Glass of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) will share their take on managing these new regulatory requirements without getting lost in the administrative complexities.
According to the Operational Resilience Working Group set up by ISSA, expectations on market participants to “both request, and provide, evidence and attestation around operational resilience standards” will become more common. How can firms meet these new requirements without the associated administrative complexities? The group suggests that the answer lies in applying a consistent methodology that enables process alignment and standardisation.
