Digital Prime Technologies (DPT) has expanded the group of launch partners for its digital asset financing marketplace, Tokenet, according to a company announcement.

The participating firms include Galaxy Digital, Marex, LTP, Flow Traders, Clear Street, EDX Markets, Ripple Prime, QCP, GSR and StoneX Digital. DPT says the group represents more than US$1 billion in digital asset inventory and more than US$1 billion in borrowing demand.

The partners are joining Tokenet through investments, advisory board participation and collaboration with DPT as the platform develops.

Institutional strength lending ecosystem

Tokenet is designed to provide institutions with a venue to source liquidity, manage inventory and execute digital and tokenised asset loans across North America, Europe and Asia.

DPT is developing the platform together with EquiLend, extending securities lending processes used in traditional markets into digital asset lending.

“We have brought together many of the most respected institutions in traditional finance and digital assets to build an institutional strength lending ecosystem,” said James Runnels, CEO of Digital Prime Technologies.

EquiLend CEO Rich Grossi said the platform aims to give institutions “a single, trusted venue to source liquidity and manage digital asset lending,” according to the announcement.
