INTERVIEW @ Sibos | With one year to go until the UK, Europe and Switzerland transition to T+1 on 11 October 2027, Andrew Douglas, chair of the UK Accelerated Settlement Taskforce, warns that the go-live date is not the only one firms need to watch. There are a dozen milestones to hit before the end of 2026, and only firms that are ready for those will be ready for the next big step: the testing phase in early 2027.
