Northern Trust has been selected by UK-based firm Brickwood Asset Management as its asset servicing solutions provider. The partnership will see the bank covering front, middle, and back-office functions for Brickwood, supporting the firm’s ambitions to scale its distribution.
Northern Trust will be bringing to the table its investment data science partnership with Equity Data Science, which will enable Brickwood to “digitise, institutionalise, and continually optimise its investment process”. Outsourced trading will be handled by Integrated Trading Solutions and “a range of middle office services”. Other core services provided include fund administration, global custody, client reporting, and performance management.
Brickwood CEO Claudia Ripley reveals in a statement her expectation that the partnership would help the firm meet its operational requirements, from digitising the investment process to supporting its trading, risk management, and investor reporting all “through a single provider”.
