Irfan Hussain will be joining LSEG in January 2024 as the exchange’s new chief information officer (CIO), succeeding Tony McCarthy, who will be retiring in the same month. In his new role, Irfan Hussain will be leading LSEG’s technology team and continuing building on the firm’s digital transformation.
Irfan Hussain will bring to LSEG a wealth of experience from Goldman Sachs, where he is currently chief operating and strategy officer for engineering. His career at Goldman Sachs spans 28 years, during which he held several positions, including as CIO of Consumer and Wealth Management, and global head of Consumer, Asset, and Wealth Management Technology.
