London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has appointed Hiroki Tomiyasu as Head of Post Trade, Japan, and Head of Post Trade Solutions, APAC. Tomiyasu will be responsible for overseeing risk management solutions and improving operational efficiencies for market participants.
The creation of this role reflects LSEG’s focus on expanding its post-trade services in Japan and the wider Asia-Pacific region, explains the exchange in a press release. Tomiyasu joined the company on 17 February and reports to Rohit Verma, Head of Post Trade, APAC, and Andrew Williams, Global Head of Post Trade Solutions.
Daniel Maguire, Group Head of LSEG Markets and CEO of LCH Group, noted that Tomiyasu’s expertise in multi-asset post-trade services will support LSEG’s development in the region. The appointment follows continued growth in LSEG’s post-trade services across APAC.
Risk and market infrastructure
Tomiyasu has a background in risk management and financial markets, most recently serving as Managing Director and Head of FID Risk Asia at Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities. He previously held roles in risk, technology, and sales at the Development Bank of Japan.
