Janus Henderson has appointed BNP Paribas Securities Services to deliver a broad suite of fund and market & financing services, deepening a partnership that spans more than two decades.
The long‑term mandate covers the UK, France, Luxembourg and Australia, drawing on BNP Paribas’ Securities Services and Global Markets capabilities to support the asset manager’s operational transformation. Janus Henderson, which manages US$ 493 billion in assets, selected the bank following a competitive tender for its ability to enhance cross‑regional efficiencies and advance the firm’s front‑to‑back target operating model.
Under the expanded mandate, BNP Paribas will provide fund accounting for Janus Henderson’s open‑ended funds and investment trusts across Europe and Asia‑Pacific, alongside depositary, custody, cash and FX services. The appointment builds on the bank’s track record of supporting Janus Henderson through fund launches, system changes and integration projects. Executives from both firms said the renewed collaboration underscores their shared ambition to scale resilient, globally aligned operations and accelerate Janus Henderson’s strategic growth plans.
