The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has named Michael Winnike as managing director of clearing & securities services (CSS) strategy and market solutions. In this newly created role, Winnike will drive strategic planning, align asset classes and market segments, and lead initiatives to address client needs and industry challenges.
Winnike joins DTCC with nearly 20 years of experience, including his previous role as director of market structure at BlackRock, where he led the firm’s Treasury clearing program, developed clearing strategies, and assessed regulatory impacts on trading platforms. He reports to Brian Steele, CSS President. Steele praised Winnike’s deep expertise, particularly in Treasury clearing, as vital to DTCC’s efforts to enhance market efficiency and resilience.
Winnike expressed enthusiasm for his new role, stating, “I look forward to working with DTCC’s team to deliver solutions that strengthen the resilience of capital markets during this period of regulatory and technological transformation.”
