Deutsche Börse Group has completed its acquisition of DLT-based decentralised finance (DeFi) platform, FundsDLT. The completion follows regulatory approval from Luxembourg financial regulator Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), which the group has been awaiting since announcing the sale in August 2023.
FundsDLT will now operate within Deutsche Börse’s Clearstream Fund Services business, although it will remain independent from Clearstream and retain its legal identity and licence under the CSSF.
