Deutsche Börse AG has appointed Stephanie Eckermann to its executive board, where she will head the newly formed post-trading division. This division combines the securities services and fund services with Clearstream, Deutsche Börse’s post-trading service provider.

Eckermann joined Deutsche Börse Group in 2020 and is currently managing director overseeing Strategy & Controls Post-Trading. She also serves on the executive board of Clearstream Holding AG and became CEO of Clearstream Banking AG in 2023.

Eckermann’s background includes a tenure as a partner at McKinsey & Company, where she contributed to the global leadership team in Corporate and Investment Banking.

The new post-trading division aims to improve the efficiency and quality of Deutsche Börse’s post-trading services, which are vital to global financial market infrastructure, according to Deutsche Börse.
