Clearstream is broadening both its operational and data capabilities with two recent launches – expanded funds services to include operational processing for funds domiciled in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Next Data Solutions, an integrated suite of data solutions.

One and only

With the enhancement of its funds services, the firm can now support execution activities for various types of funds through Vestima, its cross-border fund processing platform. Supported funds, which include open-ended mutual funds, close-ended mutual funds, and close-ended private equity funds, can now be processed through Vestima for order routing, settlement, and custody. By providing execution and custody services for all fund types, Vestima offers a single entry point for a variety of trades.

The domiciles under the expanded services include special purpose domiciles such as the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

What’s next?

In the area of data management, Next Data Solutions is Clearstream’s next generation tool that aims to provide market participants with greater transparency across the post-trade value chain.

The suite puts together four products – SettlementNext, LendingNext, CollateralNext and LiquidityNext – under a single framework for data and analytics. Clearstream claims in a press release that each product “is designed to help financial institutions move from retrospective reporting toward proactive decision-making, anticipating settlement challenges, optimising collateral allocation, and managing liquidity in real time”.

Further, SettlementNext also supports T+1 preparation with T+1 Scorecard, a feature that gives insights to T+1 compliance requirements.

Next Data Solutions is now available through Clearstream’s Xact web portal. Additional analytics modules will be released in 2026.
