Broadridge is expanding its digital assets platform for wealth management firms to the US market. The platform is already available in Canada.
The offering allows US broker-dealers, registered investment advisers and wealth managers to incorporate cryptocurrencies and tokenised securities alongside traditional investments, using existing systems and workflows.
Custody and settlement
The platform initially includes Anchorage Digital and Galaxy Digital, with support for cryptocurrencies and tokenised assets including equities, funds and private or alternative investments.
Broadridge said the platform can connect with existing Broadridge or third-party books and records systems, while supporting functions including regulatory reporting, statements, confirmations and tax.
“Digital assets are moving from the margins to the mainstream investment conversations,” said Tom Carey, Broadridge’s global head of product and technology. The company said its infrastructure is designed to support the continuous nature of digital asset markets, including custody and settlement.
