BNP Paribas Securities Services has been mandated by Italian bank BPER Banca to provide a full suite of custody and settlement services. According to a press release by BNP Paribas, the mandate will cover the complete portfolio of BPER Banca’s Italian and foreign securities, amounting to 110 billion Euros in assets under custody.
The partnership between the two organisations began in 2019. Before this new mandate, BNP Paribas was already handling settlement services for the portfolios of some of BPER Banca’s institutional clients.
