BNP Paribas has expanded its partnership with Berenberg, securing a mandate to provide a range of post-trade services in Germany and Luxembourg. The new agreement includes depositary bank services, transfer agency, and both listed and OTC derivatives clearing.

This mandate builds on the existing multi-market collaboration between BNP Paribas and Berenberg, which already encompasses local clearing, settlement, and custody services across several markets. The partnership currently covers Berenberg’s entire fund range, which includes 18 UCITS funds in Luxembourg and 12 in Germany, collectively managing €5 billion in assets.

BNP Paribas’ global custody business held US$14.4 trillion in assets under custody per 31 March.
