Bahar Sirin Akkopru has stepped into the role of Head of TEB Securities Services and TRY Cash Clearing, expanding her leadership responsibilities within the Turkish arm of BNP Paribas’ joint venture with TEB.
In her new capacity, Akkopru will oversee both securities services and Turkish lira cash clearing operations, ensuring continued support for clients in the local market, she announced in a LinkedIn post.
She takes on the position after nearly two decades in the securities services industry, where she has held a variety of roles and contributed to key projects. Akkopru joined TEB in 2007 when the securities services division was launched.
