On 1 April, Adam Kostyál officially stepped into the position of president at Nasdaq Stockholm. He took over from Fredrik Ekström, who assumed the role of chairman of the board. Ekström is joined by Ingrid Albinsson and Viveka Hirdman-Ryrberg as new board members, according to an announcement.

Kostyál was previously head of listing in Europe and had primary responsibility for the over 1,200 companies that are listed on Nasdaq’s stock exchanges in the Nordics and Baltics. Before that, he held senior positions at Cell Network and Bloomberg.

The Nasdaq president began his career at OM Gruppen in 2001 and has held various leadership roles, including head of strategic initiative groups and vice president of market technology business development.
