A rich flow of snappy presentations, on all aspects of today’s post trade activities, will form the structure of the PostTrade 360 Amsterdam conference. Then, the meeting with your industry peers over food and coffee should top off the full experience.

Technology, regulation, career inspiration and fund administration trends are all in the agenda for the day. Moderator will be Bastiaan Aalders, CEO with the Dutch office of wealth management industry consultant Alpha FMC.

Regulation update sets the stage

An introductory regulatory keynote by Floortje Nagelkerke, partner of Norton Rose Fulbright, and a best-practices case study with Edward Wierenga of NN Investment Partners, will lead up to a panel on ETF securities featuring seniors from both trading and clearing. And so far we are just reaching the first coffee break.

“The response, both from participants and sponsors, has been terrific. With the support we have received, we feel confident that we can make a notable contribution in the Netherlands too. While pan-European issues form a basis, there will also be a lot of region-specific stuff that guarantees full relevance from a Dutch perspective,” said conference producer Daniele Truini as the Amsterdam launch was presented earlier this year.

At the Eye, by the IJ

The PostTrade 360 Amsterdam event on Thursday will take place at the Eye Film Institute – a free ferry ride just across the IJ river from the central station.
