Angus Fletcher has joined State Street as global head of digital solutions.
He joins from Fnality UK, where he served as CEO of the DLT-based wholesale payments enabler.
Fletcher has 25 years of experience in regulatory and financial markets within corporate and investment bank businesses, with expertise in global transaction banking, derivatives, FX, and market infrastructure. He worked in post-trade banking roles, including at Standard Chartered and Deutsche Bank before transitioning to FinTech, joining Fnality around March 2020.
Banks such as State Street are advancing on their digital custody solutions with plans to launch offerings in 2026. State Street’s blockchain-based debt custody is live as of August 2025.
