JP Morgan has appointed Arne Martin Moen as head of Securities Services for the Nordics, strengthening its regional footprint as client demand and operating models continue to evolve.

Moen joins from Storebrand Asset Management, where he served as chief operating officer and led major initiatives including the firm’s migration to a cloud-based processing platform in 2021. His move marks JP Morgan’s decision to recruit senior talent from one of its longstanding clients; the bank provides custody and depository services to Storebrand’s Nordic pension and fund businesses, as well as its Luxembourg‑domiciled fund range.

In a LinkedIn post, Moen described his time at Storebrand as “truly transformative,” highlighting his role in “driving the development and transformation of key platforms and capabilities, and contributing to a purpose‑driven organisation across Investment Operations, Technology, and Data.”

Looking ahead to his new position, he wrote: “As I step into this new role at J.P. Morgan, I look forward to leveraging my experience to support our clients and partners across the Nordic region. The industry is evolving rapidly – across operating models, data, technology, and regulation – and I am eager to work with an exceptional team to help shape the future of securities services.”
